CHERRYFIELD – Dana Bartlett, 76, passed away peacefully April 4, 2005, after a brief illness. Dana was a well-known salmon fisherman on his beloved Narraguagus River. Dana had a passion for flying and over the years built and flew his own planes. In later years he shared his hobby of radio controlled planes with many great friends. Dana is survived by his wife, Patricia Bartlett of Gulfstream, Fla.; daughter, Julie Schnieder and her husband, Elliot, of Austin, Texas; his grandchildren, Bethany and Jason Bartlett of Portland; sister-in-law, Nancy Clark; nieces, Laurie Eddy and Leslie Howe. He was predeceased by his first wife, Norma; son, Terrance; and brother, Earl. Services will be held in late spring in Cherryfield.
