FAYETTE – Daniel T. Foster, 51, a resident of Main Street in Fayette, died unexpectedly early Thursday morning, Oct. 2 at his home. He was born on Sept. 2, 1952, in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Canada, the son of Malcolm “Doc” and Mary E. McCluskey Foster. Dan was a 1970 graduate of Woodland High School and furthered his education at Eastern Maine Vocational Technical Institute, enrolled in the electrical program. On Oct. 17, 1981, he married Vicki Hill of Chesterville at the St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay. He was employed by Wausau-Mosinee Paper Mill in Jay as an electrician. He is survived by his wife of Fayette; two brothers, Tom Foster of Augusta and Michael Foster and his companion, Carolyn Campbell, of Herman; a sister, Marikay Wilson and her husband, David, of Readfield; an aunt, Pauline McCluskey of Augusta; special nieces, Amanda Jensen, Marikay McMullen, Amy Wilson-Stevenson and Kesel Wilson; special nephews, Jonathan Foster, Matthew Wilson and Nathan Wilson. He was predeceased by a brother, James McCluskey; and an uncle, Louis McCluskey. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Finley Funeral Home, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls. Visiting hours will be held Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Livermore Falls.
