WATERVILLE – Daryl H. Reynolds, 67, died Dec. 7, 2006, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Warren. Born Oct. 6, 1939, in East Machias, he was the son of Victor “Johnnie” and Gracie Hall Fickett. He grew up in East Machias under the loving care of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hall. He attended local schools and was a graduate of Machias Academy. After graduating he moved to Connecticut. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps and after basic training served a four-year enlistment, with two of those years in Hawaii. Returning to civilian life, he moved back to East Machias, where he was married and with his wife Janice, had one daughter Lorna. He was later active in the auto repair and satellite business. For the past several years he lived in central Maine. He loved his dog “Penney,” who survived the Dec. 7, accident. Daryl was blessed by very special friends, Glendon Crowley of Addison, Sherry of Waterville, Jean and her family also of Waterville. Other than his parents, Mr. Reynolds was predeceased by a brother, Larry. He is survived by his daughter, Lorna Brown and her husband, Kenneth, of Bath; his granddaughter, Jillian Brown of Bath; his step-mother, Imogene Fickett Hall of Milbridge and Newport; two sisters, Sandy Beal of Milbridge, Laurie Cirone of Addison; a brother, Jon Fickett of Milbridge, as well as many nieces and nephews. A memorial service to be held at Faith Bible Fellowship, Milbridge, will be announced at a later date. Pastor Ambrose Rolfe will officiate. Interment will be at a later date in the Fickett family plot in Harrington. Arrangements are in the care of Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St., Rockland.
