LUDLOW – Dean Wamboldt, 72, died March 15, 2004, at his home. He was born Sept. 19, 1931, in Stony Point, N.Y., the son of Roy and Rose (Ross) Wamboldt. Dean was a commercial pilot for several years and was a Master Maine Guide with a love of the outdoors. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Marie (Gardner) Wamboldt of Ludlow; three sons, Roy, Scott and Glen; special friends, Gayla, Linda and Harvey. He was predeceased by one brother, Delmar; and one sister, Merna Terrio. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Andy Harthorne and Sonny Curtis officiating. Spring interment will be in the Tapley Cemetery, Blaine.
