PEMBROKE – Delman L. Morgan, a devoted husband and father, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007, after a long illness at home. He was born June 4, 1931, in Ellsworth Falls, the son of Thomas and Margaret Morgan. Delman retired as a heavy equipment operator from Local No. 4 after 35 years. He was a long standing member of Crescent Lodge No. 78, AF & AM of Pembroke. Delman is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Jane Morgan; a daughter, Jo Marie Shannon and husband, Ralph, of Calais; three sons, Tom Morgan and wife, Vicki, of Lebanon, N.H., Bruce Morgan and wife, LuAnne, of Pembroke and Greg Morgan and wife, Yong Sun, of Florida; grandchildren, Thomas Morgan and wife, Kristie, Robert Morgan and wife, Laura, Philip and Emily Morgan; one great-granddaughter, Natalie; a special niece, Diane Dudley and husband, James, of Edmunds; many nieces and nephews; two sisters, Louise Morgan Treagy and husband, Wayne, of Hampden and Rita Morrison and husband, Maynard, of Perry; a brother, Frank Morgan and wife, Judy, of Brewer; two sisters-in-law, Belle Clark of Calais and Mary Foster and her husband, Dana, of Wells. At Delman’s request, there will be no visiting hours. A graveside service in the spring will be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pembroke Volunteer Fire Dept, care of Robert Barr, or Pembroke 4th of July Committee, care of Helene Blanchard, Middle Street, Pembroke, ME 04666.
