CARIBOU – Derrick Allen Curry, 29, died Sept. 25, 2004, at his Presque Isle residence from complications of diabetes. He was born in Caribou, Sept. 4, 1975, the son of Brian and Sandra (Shaw) Curry. Derrick was a 1994 graduate of Caribou High School and was a member of St. Lukes Episcopal Church. Derrick was also a member of SUFU (Speaking Up For Us). He is survived by his brother, Brian of Van Buren; aunts and uncles, Connie and William MacNeil of Beverly, Mass., Judy Denihan of Waterbury, Conn., and a special aunt, Jean Shaw of Caribou; seven cousins, Richard Johnston, Angela Thibeau, James Denihan, Mary Lamanna, Beth Denihan, Shawn MacNeil, and Kelly Moloney. Derrick was predeceased by his parents. A celebration of Derrick’s life will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2004, from St. Lukes Episcopal Church with Father Robert Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Greenridge Cemetery. Arrangements by the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou.
