DEXTER ‘DUSTY’ STEPHEN DAY WOODVILLE – Dexter “Dusty” Stephen Day, 56, died May 11, 2004, at a Lincoln hospital. He was born Oct. 22, 1947, in Millinocket, the son of Harold and Linnette (Fogg) Day. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, from 1968 to 1974, and received the Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and One Overseas Bar. Dusty enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his fianc?e, Cindy Parent; his daughters, Linnette Gilbert, Kim Murray, Stephine McPherson, Michelle McPherson and Christina Day; three grandchildren, Natasha Gilbert, Matthew Gilbert and Rebecca Murray; Cindy’s children, Justin Taylor, Corinna Taylor and Jack Pankake; brothers, Harold Day, Richard Day, Dale Day and Dana Day; sisters, Dorothy White, Elizabeth Pond, Kay Potvin, Janice McPheters and Penny White; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, Reginald P. Day. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Regginal Adams officiating. Interment will be in East Millinocket Cemetery.
