CORINTH and BLAINE – Diana M. Menendez, 73, died unexpectedly July 25, 2006, at her residence. She was born Feb. 27, 1933, in Mars Hill, the daughter of Malcolm and Millicent (Belyea) Barrey. She had been a lifelong resident of Blaine until moving to Corinth in 1991. She was a member of the Corinth United Baptist Church and a former member of the Free Baptist Church, Blaine. She was a former member of the Friendship Chapter, OES and the Mountain Grange in Blaine. She had been the Blaine town manager for more than 20 years and the Bradford town manager for about 10 years. She is survived by five children, David M. Crosby and his wife, Barbara, of St. Albans, Vt., Kathy McNally and her husband, Burt, of Sherman, William B. Crosby and his wife, Lori, of Cheyenne, Wyo., Leann Grover and her husband, Earl, of Brewer and BobbiJo Charloux and her husband, Craig, of Fort Hood, Texas; three sisters, Clara Poole and her husband, Jack, of Milford, Conn., Ruth Pert and her husband, Leonard, of Virginia Beach, Va. and Erma Anderson of Greensboro, NC; two brothers, Nathan Barrey and his wife, Dorothy, of Virginia and Steven Barrey and his wife, Ardis, of Fort Pierce, Fla. and East Grand Lake; 11 grandchildren, Jared Embelton, Brady and Bailey McNally, Brittny Crosby, Justin and Jeremy Berry, Delany, Destiny, Brandi and Earl Grover Jr. and Stephen Charloux. Friends may call 1 p.m. until time of services 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, at the Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Rd., Corinth, with the Rev. Kirk Mellon officiating. Graveside memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, at the Tapley Cemetery, Blaine, with Lawrence Beals officiating.
