ORONO and GREENBUSH -Dianne L. Jackson, 54, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2005, surrounded by her loving family at a Bangor hospital following a long illness. She was born June 9, 1950, in Lincoln, the daughter of Byron A. and Rebecca G. (Fleming) Weymouth. Dianne was a graduate of Penobscot Valley High School, Class of 1968. She worked for Smiley’s Clothing in Bangor for 10 years. Dianne enjoyed going for long rides, gardening, sewing and shopping especially at Marden’s Discount. She loved her family unconditionally and treated everyone individually as if they were number one. She is survived and will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 34 years, Gary; daughter, Melissa Vandez and her husband, John, of Orono; son, Chad Jackson and his wife, Nikki, of Old Town; granddaughter, Allison Vandez; one unborn and soon to be granddaughter, Lyndsay Dianne Jackson; her mother, Rebecca Weymouth of Howland; sister, Harriet Smiley and her husband, David, of Hermon; sister, Sharon Hooper and her husband, Miles, of Zephyrhills, Fla.; brother, Byron Weymouth Jr. of Biloxi, Miss.; sister, Martha Nash and her husband, Lennie, of West Enfield; brother, Mark Weymouth and his wife, Robin, of East Millinocket; sister-in-law, Marie Burpee and her husband, Russell “Skip”; many nieces, nephews, friends and special friends, Kathy Twitchell and Paulette Clapp. She was predeceased by her father, Byron A. Weymouth Sr. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday, at the Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town, where a celebration of life will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, with the Rev. Normand Richard officiating. Burial at Cardville Cemetery will be held immediately following the service.
