THOMASTON – Donald E. “Hefty” Philbrook, 79, husband of Frances Eddy Philbrook, died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006, in Rockport, after a long illness. Friends and relatives are invited to visit 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St., Rockland. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Gabriel Rogers officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Mountain View Cemetery, Camden.
