CARIBOU – Donna May Doherty, 47, wife of James Morrell died unexpectedly Jan. 3, 2004, at her Caribou residence. She was born at Manchester, Conn., Oct. 7, 1956, the daughter of Elwin Harold and Myrtle Irene (Smart) Scott. Donna was educated in the Connecticut public school system and was a loving and devoted mother and housewife to her family. She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Caribou. Surviving in addition to her husband, James Louis Morrell of Caribou; are one son, Frederick Archer and his special friend, Stephanie Carmichael of Caribou; three daughters and a son-in-law, Jennifer and Neil St. Amant of Presque Isle, Amber Doherty of Presque Isle and Crystal Doherty of Caribou; one brother, Harry Scott of East Hampden, Conn.; two grandchildren, Carter Doherty and Elijah Archer. She was predeceased by a sister, Gloria Cusin. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, at the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Burnam Morrell and the Rev. Bob Smith, pastors, co-officiating. Arrangements are by the Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.
