BREWER – Dora M. Floyd, 84, died April 10, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Oct. 9, 1920, in Eddington the daughter of Adelbert and Margaret (Grant) Clewley. She was a much loved and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by three children, Gilbert Floyd and wife, Karen, of Palm Coast, Fla., Margaret Gutierrez and husband, Javier, of Brewer, Larry Floyd and wife, Gloria, of Clifton; two brothers, Raymond and Lawrence Clewley, of Eddington; five sisters, Phyllis Gill, Mary Baker, Hazel Ouellette, and Thelma Giggy, all of Eddington, Doris Lovely, of Clifton; nine grandchildren, 18 great-grand-children; dear friends, Mildred Byard of Buxton, Carol Kear of Bangor, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert Floyd on Feb. 20, 1975; a sister, Bertha Manzo; a grandson, John Denniston; and a great-grandson, Jimmy Belanger. A gathering to celebrate Dora’s life will be held 10 a.m. Friday, April 15, 2005, at Comins Hall, 1387 Main Road, Eddington. A service of Memorial Alternatives, 1225 Broadway, Bangor.
