She loved to play cards and board games with her grandchildren and great-grand-children and was hard to beat in Scrabble. “Beware of the flywacker,” was frequently heard for those children who misbehaved. Earlier in her life she was a state champion in candlepin bowling and how she loved to dance. She was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary Military Order of the Purple Heart, American Legion, Disabled American Veterans’ and the Burton-Goode-Sargent Chapter No. 1, Maine Korean War Veterans. In addition to her parents and several brothers and sisters, she was predeceased by a son, Robert W. White, February 1995. Surviving, in addition to her husband, Jesse, are sons, Dale J.
