ELLSWORTH – Dorothy M. Huston, 79, died Dec. 2, 2006, at her residence. She was born Aug. 7, 1927, and grew up in Kennebunkport. Since she had lived on both coasts of the United States, she had many special friends and family spread across the nation. She enjoyed playing at a bridge table, belonging to the Coronado Crown Club, boating in both the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans and belonging to the Marlboro Yacht Club. She enjoyed meeting a variety of people and was a very warm and loving friend to many, many people. Dorothy had a fabulous sense of humor. Throughout her illness, she had been given excellent care at the Maine Coast Memorial Hospital, especially many days at the Mary Dow Clinic and also Hospice of Hancock County. They had made her illness bearable. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Harold “Tex”; son, Gary Huston; granddaughter, Kelley; sister, Millie; and stepbrother, Ralph.
