BANGOR – Duncan “Dunc” Robertson Jr. 83, husband of the late Shirley M. (Blake) Robertson, died Dec. 25, 2007, at a local hospital. He was born March 29, 1924, in Hermon, the son of Duncan and Mildred (Roberts) Robertson Sr. He graduated from Hermon High School in 1943. He worked at Nissen Baking Corp. for 43 years, retiring in 1986. He was active in Masonic and Shrine affairs, member and past master of Rising Virtue Lodge No. 10 AF & AM, member of Anah Shriners, a charter member of the Highlanders, a Potentates Aide, membership chairman, and on the directors staff. He is survived by three sons and their wives, James Robertson and Linda of Old Town, Gerald Robertson and Sylvia of Carmel, and Richard Robertson and Bonnie of Holden; four grandchildren, Jamie Robertson and his wife, Pamela, of Old Town, Richard Robertson Jr. and his wife, Jennifer, of Holden, Michele and her husband, Mark Booker, of Portland, and Laurie and her husband, Lance Sherman, of Orrington; 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Coral Reynolds of Bangor. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, with the Rev. Clayton Blackstone, pastor of the Bangor Advent Christian Church, officiating. Spring interment will be at Harts Corner Cemetery, Holden.
