OLD TOWN – Eddie “Frenchy” Raymond Sr., 80, went home to be with his mom and dad Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008. He was born Nov. 2, 1927, in Stockholm. Frenchy was employed by Nickerson and O’Day as a carpenter for many years. He is survived by one son, Eddie J. Raymond Jr. and his wife, Cathy, of Old Town; three daughters, Linda Raymond of Sanford, Sandra LaChance and her husband, Paul, of Biddeford and Christine Denbow and her husband, Rick, of Bangor; many sisters, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. From the bottom of our hearts, a special thank you to the staff at Orono Commons for the outstanding care and love given to our dad throughout the past year. Also, a special thanks to the staff at Beacon Hospice. At the family’s request, services will be private. Committal will be held at Lawndale Cemetery, Old Town.
