CAMBRIDGE – Edith T. Ricker, 84, died Feb. 19, 2008, at Reddington Fairview Hospital, Skowhegan. She was born Feb. 8, 1924, in Athens, daughter of Carl and Lena Taylor. She was a longtime resident of Cambridge and was an active member of Cambridge Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bernard A. Ricker, Feb. 16, 2007. She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie (Ricker) Long of Roanoke, Va., and Lorna (Ricker) Jones and her husband, Larry, of Chelmsford, Mass.; a son, Joel Ricker of Cambridge; two grandchildren, Matthew Long of Silver Spring, Md., and Adam Long of Roanoke, Va.; a sister, Kate Libby; and a brother, Orrin Taylor. Committal services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, at Crosby & Neal, 21 Oak St., Guilford, with Pastor William Inman officiating.
