CARIBOU – Edna Guyette, 86, died March 21, 2005, at Van Buren. She was born Sept. 26, 1918, at St. John, Maine, the daughter of Joseph and Annie (Martin) Theriault. She was a graduate of the Fort Kent High School. Edna was a secretary in Connecticut for many years and was also employed at Radio Lab in Vermont. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her family. She will be remembered as a kind and generous person. She touched the lives of many around her. She was predeceased by her husband, Leo Guyette in 1984. Edna is survived by a daughter, Susan Guyette and her husband, David White, of Santa Fe, N.M.; three sisters, Albertine Phillips and her husband, Robert, of Glenburn, Esther Bell and her husband, Philip, of Caribou and Lorraine Jacques of Tucson, Ariz.; a grandson, Austin Spafford of Bellevue, Wash.; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. The funeral liturgy outside Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, March 24, 2005, by Fr. David Raymond, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Spring interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Presque Isle.
