EDNA (HARVEY) THIBODEAU ST. FRANCIS – Edna (Harvey) Thibodeau, 82, died July 25, 2008, in St. Francis, with her children and husband by her side. Edna was born March 22, 1926, in St. Francis, the daughter of Belone and Agnus (Jandreau) Harvey. She always looked forward to spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She was a communicant of St. Charles Parish. She was a member of Ladies of St. Anne of St. Francis. She leaves her husband of 63 years, Reginald Thibodeau of St. Francis; five daughters, Linda Perkins, Myra Pelletier and her husband, Stanley, Claudette Michaud and her husband, Gary, Amy Deprey and her husband, Chad, all of St. Francis and Jeannine Gardner and her husband, Owen, of Lincoln; three sons, Steve Thibodeau, Jimmy Thibodeau and his wife, Corrinna, of St. Francis and Rick Thibodeau and his wife, Suzanne, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; daughter-in-law, Hermence Banville of St. Agatha; one sister, Jeanette Martin; sister-in-law, Doris Harvey of Fort Kent; 26 grandchildren, as well as 20 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her children, James and Jeannine Thibodeau in 1964 and Joel Thibodeau in 1995; and a son-in-law, Dudley Perkins in 2007. The family extends their thanks to hospice and especially, Laura Kelley for the loving care she received. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday and noon-1:15 p.m. Monday until time of departure for St. Francis at Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 2 p.m. Monday at St. Charles Catholic Church, St. Francis. Burial will be after at the parish cemetery.
