PALMYRA – Edna M. Prosser, 74, wife of Murray F. Prosser, went to be with her Lord Jan. 22, 2007. She was born Aug. 4, 1932, in Fort Fairfield, a daughter of Raymond and Anna (Barker) Smith. On March 4, 1950, she married Murray Prosser. They moved from the family homestead in Monticello to Palmyra in 1982. Edna attended Monticello Full Gospel Church, Deeper Life Assembly, Pittsfield and the Jubilee Family Worship Center, Newport. She was, at the time of her death, a member of Solid Rock Church of God, Pittsfield. Her life was dedicated to the Lord’s work and helping others. Edna is survived by her husband of nearly 57 years, Murray; two sons, Frank and wife, Belinda Prosser, and Ray and wife, Daryl Lynn Prosser, all of Palmyra; two daughters, Anita and husband, Gordon Ginnish, of Plymouth and Priscilla and husband, Tom Hanson, of Kenduskeag; a brother, Charles and wife, Ruth Smith, of Presque Isle; four sisters, Rita and husband, Frank Babin, of Massachusetts, Vera Larson of New Sweden, Phyllis and husband, Keith Ireland, of Caribou and Diane and husband, Delbert Martin, of New York; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, at the Apostolic Bible Church, 363 Moosehead Trail, Newport, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Dana Perkins officiating.
