NILES, Ohio – Edna M. Stoddard, 92, of 155 E. State St., died Wednesday afternoon, March 3, 2004, at Glenview Village in Mineral Ridge, Ohio. Edna was born Nov. 26, 1911, in Eastport, the daughter of Allen and Lottie (Stewart) Sutherland. She retired in 1971, as a statistical clerk from the U.S. Census Bureau. She is survived by her husband, Stanley Stoddard, who she married May 29, 1941. She also leaves a son, James (Dianne) Stoddard of Mineral Ridge; a sister, Elsie Clement of Pembroke; two grandchildren, Kristine Rainey and Kara Calderon; and a great-grandson, Erik Rainey. She was predeceased by her parents; three sisters; and four brothers.
