HAMDEN, Conn. and DENNYSVILLE – Edwina Edwards Falconer of 680 Hartford Trpk., Hamden, died Aug. 9, 2004, in a Yale, N.H. hospital. She was born in New Haven, Conn., Oct. 4, 1927, the daughter of the late Edwin and Jane Wackel Edwards. She was a nurse in the New Haven area for many years, a life long resident of Hamden and a former member of the Republican Town Council. She was also a six month resident of Dennysville. She was the beloved wife of Charles Falconer and loving mother of Frederick S. Palmer of Cheshire, Sarah F. Maker of Maine, Grace Falconer of New York, Elizabeth Bryson of Hawaii, Abigail Palmer of South Carolina, and Allison Palmer of Alabama; sister of Henry J. Edwards of Vermont; also survived by 11 grandchildren, and one great-grandson. Services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, in the Spring Glen Congregational Church. Friends may call 5-7 p.m. Friday at Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Ave. Burial will be in Beaverdale Cemetery.
