BANGOR and PORTLAND Elden M. “J.R.” White, 54, died June 2, 2007, surrounded by his family. He was born March 4, 1953, in Bangor, the son of Elden and Abbie (Fitzgerald) White. He is survived by his father and mother, Peg of Eddington; brothers, Dale and his fianc?e, Ellen, of Eddington, Gary of Brewer, Steven and his wife, Rhonda, of Milford, Kevin and his wife, Lynne, of Orrington, Dean Knights of Portland, Billy Knights of Oxford, Steven Knights of Westbrook, Jesse Knights of Buckfield, John Knights of Parsonsfield, Richard Hammond and his wife, Debra, of Holden; sisters, Beverly Kyle of South Portland, Karen Burns of Bangor, Dawna and her husband, Cecil Woodward, of Bangor, Belinda Smith of West Baldwin, Dottie Calciano of Watertown, N.Y.; several nieces, nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his mother, grandparents, brother, sister and a nephew. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, June 11, at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor, with the Rev. Robert T. Carlson officiating. Family and friends are invited to meet 9:45 a.m. at the Superintendents Office, State Street entrance. A service of Brookings-Smith, Bangor.
