BANGOR – Eleanor E. Palmer, 84, died May 29, 2007, at her residence. She was born July 24, 1922, in Bangor, the daughter of Harry and Eva White. Eleanor graduated from Bangor High School, Class of 1939. She was an active member of the Rebecca Club and enjoyed her many nights of bingo, trips to Atlantic City, N.J., and spending time at their camp with her husband on Holebrook Pond. She is survived by three nephews, Ronald and his wife, Sandy Winslow, of Palmyra, Curtis Winslow and Craig Winslow of Bangor; two nieces, Julie and her husband, Kyle Patterson of New York, Melanie and her husband, Mark O’Leary, of Maryland; one great-niece, Riley; and three great-nephews, Ryan, Conner and Taylor. Graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Brewer. Arrangements by Greenlawn Funeral Directors, Bangor.
