MILLINOCKET and BANGOR Eleanor (Stickney) Little, 90, wife of the late John S. Little, died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2006, at a Millinocket hospital. She was born Oct. 9, 1915, in Worcester, Mass., the daughter of Myron and Bessie (Appleby) Stickney of Brownville. Eleanor was educated in Worcester schools, was a graduate of Denison University in Ohio and Hahnemann Hospital School of Nursing in Worcester, Mass. She worked as a registered nurse for many years, retiring from Eastern Maine Medical Center in 1983. Eleanor is survived by four children, Barbara Paisley and her husband, George, of Jacksonville, Fla., Jane Willett and her husband, Richard, of Wells, Kathleen Keshvari and her husband, Parviz, of Port Orange, Fla. and Thomas Little and his wife, Rhonda, of Millinocket; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, two great- great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends are invited to visit with the family 7-9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, at the Bouchard – Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket, where a prayer of remembrance will be offered 8 p.m. Private interment will be at the Village Cemetery, Brownville.
