HOULTON – Eleanore S. Shields, 89, passed away Nov. 24, 2003, at a local healthcare facility. She was born Aug. 14, 1914, at Hodgdon, the daughter of Charles and Ida (Stitham) Stockford. She is survived by four children, Helen Campbell of Blissfield, New Brunswick, Charles Shields of Linneus, Verna Kervin of Hodgdon, Joseph Shields Sr. of Wallingford, Conn.; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth and her son, Leonard. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Hodgdon Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Hinton officiating.
