HERMON – Elinor Louise (Overlock) Stevens, 83, passed away at her home June 29, 2004. She was born Sept. 4, 1920, to Lena Overlock (Kimball) and Nelson Overlock. Elinor enjoyed traveling, bowling and was a member of the Brewer Eagles Club since 1969. She is survived by three daughters, Joyce Stevens of Eddington, Roberta York and her husband, Richard, of Millinocket, Linda Swoboda and her husband, Joseph, of Hermon; two brothers, Clair Overlock and Lloyd Overlock; a sister, Golda McLaughlin; a special grandson, Clifton Stevens of Hermon, who took excellent care of her; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two children, Harry Nelson and Janet Lois Stevens; two sisters, Ruth Fesseden and Vera Ross. Graveside services will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday at Pine Tree Cemetery, Hermon, with Pastor Chute officiating. Donations can be made in her memory to the Hermon Rescue Squad.
