FORT KENT – Elizabeth “Betty” (Caron) Bouchard, 63, died Oct. 6, 2003, at a Fort Kent healthcare facility. She was born June 30, 1940, the daughter of Aurele and Sadie (Michaud) Caron. Betty worked 10 years as a dietary aide at Northern Maine Medical Center in Fort Kent until semi-retiring in 2002. She belonged to the Catholic Order of Foresters in Fort Kent. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her father, Aurele, of Fort Kent, she is survived by her husband of 33 years, Charles Bouchard of New Canada; three sons and their wives, Denis and Betty Martin of Southeast Lacey, Wash., Jeffrey and Nicole Martin of Gorham, Michael and Leslie Martin of Mesa, Ariz.; three daughters and their husband, Debra and Dean Poggie of Derry, N.H., Susan and Elden Devoe of New Canada, Jill and Rick Cairns of Fort Kent; 13 grandchildren; three sisters, Bobbie Charette of Fort Kent, Patsy Bouchard of Homestead, Fla., and Pauline Dumond of Fort Kent; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her first husband, Nelson Martin in 1967. Friends may call at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, in Fort Kent, 8 a.m. Saturday until time of service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Louis Catholic Church in Fort Kent with the Rev. Claude Gendreau officiating. Committal service will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery in Daigle. Those who wish may contribute in her memory to the Edgar J.
