WISCASSET – Elizabeth “Betty” T. Rogers, 82, of Deer Ridge Road died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2005. She was born Feb. 22, 1922, in Dexter, the daughter of George and Emma (Cleaves) Millett. She is survived by three sons, Robert H. Rogers Sr., Larry J. Rogers and Ronald D. Rogers; three daughters, Rita M. Lovejoy, Linda L. Karnas, Renee E. Coombs; two brothers, Tim Lahey and Fred Lahey; one sister, Annabelle Millett, 23 grandchildren; six great- grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14, 2005, at The First Congregational Church of Wiscasset. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the fellowship hall. Burial will be in Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta at a later date. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1 Main St., Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086.
