RAYMOND – Elizabeth Harvey, 48, of 43 Zephyr Road, died April 10, 2008, after a courageous two and one half-year battle against cancer. Liz was born Aug. 16, 1959, in Rumford, the daughter of J. Bernard and Doris O’Kane. The O’Kane family moved to Brewer when Elizabeth was eight years old. She attended Brewer schools and graduated from Brewer High in 1977. They had two beautiful children, Sarah Elizabeth Harvey, 21, a junior at University of New Hampshire and Samuel Joseph Harvey, 16, a sophomore at Cheverus High School. Liz attended Husson College and received a bachelor’s degree in business, which led her toward an 18-year career as a court stenographer, the majority of which was spent working in the state of Maine court system. In 1998, Liz decided to become a real estate agent, eventually becoming co-owner with her husband, of Premier Properties, Raymond. Liz was considered a very successful real estate agent, known for her dedication to her clients, her determination, and her endless enthusiasm.
