DOVER-FOXCROFT – Elizabeth J. Hall, 90, died Tuesday, April 18, 2006, at her home in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born Oct. 11, 1915, in Fort Fairfield, the daughter of Willis and Clara (Munce) Tozier. She worked at the Shop & Save, IGA and Newbury’s in Dover-Foxcroft. She sewed clothes, canned vegetables, did needlepoint work and loved her flower gardens. She also loved visiting with her grandchildren who used to spend days staying with her. She and her husband, Don, took care of their daughter, Patricia, in their home for 60 years. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Donald Hall of Dover-Foxcroft; a son, Stephen Hall and his wife, Jeanette, of Guilford; a daughter, Patricia Hall of Bangor; many nieces and nephews; nine grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Raymond, Hesden, Theran, Ted, Woodman and Ralph; and a sister, Anna. Special thanks to Dr. Kousaie and Dr. Fernow, Community Health and Counseling Services, Kristin Nadeau, Hospice Care Nurses, Home Care of Maine worker, Joann Brooks, and all those who volunteered and helped in Elizabeth’s last days. In keeping with Elizabeth’s wishes, there will be no public services. Burial will be in the South Side Cemetery in Skowhegan. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal, Guilford.
