HARRINGTON – Elizabeth Joyce “Lib” Wass passed away peacefully March 27, 2007, at the Grace Home, Harrington. She was born Nov. 16, 1920, in Columbia, the daughter of Peter and Margaret (Randall) Joyce. She is survived by a daughter, Remona Caler of Ellsworth; a son, Peter Wass of Hancock; grandson, Randolph Caler and wife, Lorie, of Cherryfield; great-grandchildren, Andrea Hartford and husband, Shawn, of Columbia Falls, Aaron and Amanda Caler of Cherryfield; great-great-granddaughter, Gracie Kristen Hartford of Columbia Falls; brother, Anthony Joyce of Columbia; sister-in-law, Minnie Wass of Bath; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Azro Wass; and two sisters, Abby Anderson and Ester Peters. The family thanks the staff at the Grace Home for giving Elizabeth such wonderful care. At Elizabeth’s request, there will be no visiting hours. Private graveside services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by Acadia Burial & Cremation Direct, 248 State St., Ellsworth.
