BANGOR and OCALA, Fla. Elizabeth K. Farnham died Jan. 21, 2004 at a Bangor healtcare facility after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease and related complications. She was born Nov. 18, 1923, in Patterson, N.J. As a young woman she was an accomplished concert pianist and worked as a high fashion model at Bonwit Teller in New York City. She is survived by a daughter, Susan Piatt of South Euclid, Ohio; a son, Paul N. Farnham III of Winterport; five grandchildren, Jeff, Chris, Jesse, Abby and Oakley. Spring interment will be in St. Johnsbury, Vt. Donations may be made in her honor to the Maine Alzheimer’s Association.
