ORRINGTON and ORLAND Elizabeth Marie Braley, 71, died Nov. 25, 2007, surrounded by family in the comfort of her daughter’s home in Lancaster, N.H. Born Feb. 26, 1936, in Minto, New Brunswick. She was the daughter of Joseph and Beatrice (Maillett) Robichaud. Liz grew up in New Brunswick, the youngest of eight children. She married her husband, Dean, in 1957 and moved to the States, where she and Dean raised their six children in Orrington. Liz worked as a homemaker and a waitress. She was a fabulous cook and maker of chocolates, which she shared with many. Liz also enjoyed quilting, knitting and creating many other works of art, which her family will cherish. Her smiles and laughs were contagious. Liz was always one to take care of others; she loved to give and was so generous. Liz leaves behind her husband of 50 plus years, Dean; a son, Dean Braley and his wife, Shirley, of Orland; three daughters, Brenda and her husband, Charles Robicheau, of Bucksport, Theresa Cabral and her fiance, Jon Chapman, of Dedham and Rhonda and her husband, Glenn Adams, of Lancaster, N.H.; eight grandchildren, Michael and his wife, Jenny Robicheau, of Bangor, Joe Robicheau of Bucksport, Tyler Cabral of Dedham, Daniel, Andrew and Nick Ireland of Lancaster, N.H., Alisa Bragg of Amherst and Tricia Smith of Brewer; six wonderful great-grandchildren, Brandon, Cody, Ashley, Jared, Jacob and newborn, Jaxson Dean; two sisters, Yvonne Cavanaugh of St. Stephen, New Brunswick and Florida Kellett and her husband, Myron, of Victoria, New Brunswick; one brother, Laurie Robichaud and his wife, Rose, of Fredricton, New Brunswick; and a very special nephew, Gene Cavanaugh of Fredricton, New Brunswick, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; a son, Gregory; a daughter Susan; two brothers, Aimee and Gerald Robichaud; and two sisters, Leoda Collins and Rita Gallant. Liz made many friends quickly during her short stay in New Hampshire, thank you to all who touched her life and let her touch yours. She will be missed by so many.
