NEW LIMERICK – Elizabeth N. Hatfield, 85, died Jan. 31, 2005, at a local healthcare facility. She was born June 3, 1919, at New Limerick, the daughter of Cecil and Oris (Grant) Hatfield. Elizabeth was a graduate of the Ricker Classical Institution and attended the New Limerick Freewill Baptist Church. She was employed by W.T. Grant, J.J. Newbury, and was the bookkeeper of Sadie’s Bakery for many years. She is survived by her brother, Richard Hatfield, of Florida; several nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her nephew, John Grant, and her best friend, Marion Wright. Graveside services will be held at the New Limerick Cemetery in the spring.
