HERMON – Ella “Ruth” B. Flewelling, 85, died April 2, 2006, at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born Feb. 10, 1921, on Cranberry Isle, the daughter of Charles R. and Georgia F. (Jude) Bulger. She was the wife of the late Howard M. Flewelling. Ruth is survived by two sons, Howard M. Flewelling Jr. and his wife, Maryann, of Florida and Roy B. Flewelling and his wife, Nancy, of Stetson; grandchildren, Michael and Elizabeth Flewelling of Holden, Suzanne Flewelling of Stockton Springs, Roy Jr. and Tracey Flewelling of Unity, Melissa Borden of Carmel, Melinda and Richard Castonguay of Burnham, Darren and Tina Flewelling of Stetson; 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and four nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers and one sister. Friends are invited to call 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, at Jordan-Fernald, 1139 Main St., Mount Desert, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. with the Rev. Wayne Buchanan officiating.
