BRIDGEPORT, Conn., ARGYLE, and OLD TOWN – Ellen May Gastia, 77, passed away early Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2004 at a nursing facility in Bridgeport, Conn., after a brief illness. She was born Oct. 12, 1927, in Bridgeport, Conn., the daughter of the late George and Mary E. (Lynch) Lawrence. She is survived and will be sadly missed by a son, Robert Gastia and his wife, Lynn, of Colchester, Conn.; sister, Margaret McCabe of St. Louise, Mo.; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ellen was predeceased by her loving husband, Norman Gastia; son, David; four brothers, Lawrence, William, George, and Alfred.
