VEAZIE – Ellen Mae (Hutchins) Shorey, 78, died June 23, 2008, at a Bangor health care facility after a long illness. She was born March 6, 1930, the daughter of Herbert and Myra (Robinson) Hutchins. She is survived by her four children, Luanna Shorey of Veazie, Nancy Arlaud of New York, Roger Shorey of Veazie and Katherine Thibodeau of Arizonia; three sisters, Virginia of New York, Sybil of Texas and Glenna of Orono; one brother, Keith of Franklin; six grandchildren, Erin and Joshua Ward, Douglas and Amanda Arlaud, Amber Shorey and Robert Shorey; six great-grandchildren, Ryleigh and Isaac Ward, SkyeMarie and Alexander Arlaud, and Killian and Keane Burns. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Roberta Hancock; and granddaughter, Tammy Ann Hancock. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, June 27, at Fairview Cemetery, Veazie, with the Rev. Clayton Blackstone, pastor of Bangor Advent Christian Church, officiating.
