PRESQUE ISLE – Elsie Macivor Jordan, 97, died Oct. 6, 2003, at a Presque Isle health-care facility. She was born in Presque Isle, Aug. 21, 1906, the daughter of Orrin and Cordelia (Ryder) Pelkey. She was an active member of the Easton Pentecostal Church. She is survived by a daughter, Lois Gardner of Holden; four grandchildren, April Bennett and her husband, Reginald, of Wells, Donald Gardner and his wife, Ethel, her special care givers of Presque Isle, Russell Gardner and his wife, Patricia, of Gorham, and Randy Gardner of Littleton, Colo.; a brother, Rodney Pelkey of Presque Isle; daughter-in-law, Frances MacIvor Laing of Wells; several step-sons, step-daughters, including a special stepson, Stanley Jordan and his wife, Delores, of Easton; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two husbands, Donald John MacIvor and Earl Jordan; a son, Richard MacIvor; and a brother, Kilburn Pelkey. Friends and relatives may call from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Clive Meidahl officiating. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle. Those who wish may donate in her memory in support of her family, care of Don Gardner, P.O.
