ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Elsie Paul Willard, 97, passed away Sept. 13, 2006, at Presbyterian Kaseman Hospice, Albuquerque, N.M. Her gentle and generous spirit will be missed by all who knew her. She was born in 1908, in Watertown, Fla. She attended the National Cathedral School, Washington, D.C., and graduated from Miss Harris’s School, Miami, Fla. She also attended Parson’s School of Design, New York City. Elsie was a member of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, Penobscot Expedition Chapter, as well as a member of the Society of Mayflower Descendants in the state of Maine. She was predeceased by her husband, William W. Willard Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Joan Vogelsberg and husband, Robert Vogelsberg, of Albuquerque, N.M.; daughter, Eden Buron of Belfast; granddaughter, Gretchen Vogelsberg and husband, Gary Small, of Albuquerque, N.M.; grandson, Chase Vogelsberg of Albuquerque, N.M.; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Buron and partner, Susan Bernard, of Deerfield, Mass.; and great-granddaughters, Dylan Small and Rhian Small.
