FORT FAIRFIELD and WATERBURY, Conn. – Mrs. Emma Jane Therriault Grew, 94, passed away April 23, 2004 at the Haven Health Center in Waterbury, Conn., after a long illness. She was born Sept. 18, 1909 in Fort Fairfield, the daughter of Michael Otis and Clarisse (Chasse) Therriault. She is survived by her daughter, Betty Nichols Hartley Barnes of Fort Fairfield; her sons, Milton Granville Grew of Rexton, New Brunswick, and Robert Lewis Grew of Nazareth, Pa. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Isaac Nichols of Fort Fairfield, Milton Grew Sr. of Mars Hill, and Henry DelPo of Waterbury, Conn.; five brothers, Raymond, Lewis, Thomas, Joseph and Robert Therriault of Fort Fairfield; and one sister, Mary Therriault Christiano of Waterbury, Conn. A memorial service was held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 1, 2004, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2670 North Main St., Waterbury, Conn., with John Chapin officiating.
