MONTICELLO – Emogene M. Mills, 79, died Nov. 14, 2004, at a local hospital. She was born June 26, 1925, the daughter of Michael and Emily (Goodine) McLaughlin. Emogene was a member of the Monticello United Methodist Church, Methodist Womens fellowship and the mistletoe club. She worked for many years at the Aroostook Hospital and the Houlton Regional Hospital. She is survived by her son, Michael Mills Sr. and his wife, Melissa, of Monticello; three daughters, Connie and her husband, Bruce Sandstrom, of Presque Isle, Peggy Keck of Branford, Conn. and Sue Butts’Dion and her husband, Kenneth Dion, of Saco; two sisters, Gertrude Albert of Limestone and Gladys Kijek of South Portland; 12 grandchildren, Michael Mills Jr., Greg Mills, Denice Govin, Reggie Bragdon, Ryan Ellsworth, Craig Nelson, Zackary Keck, Jarred Keck, Samuel Butts, Travis Dion, Corey Dion and Emily Dion; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Gregory Mills in 1986. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Dunn Funeral Home. Services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Monticello Methodist Church.
