HODGDON – Erik Scott Tash, 17, died Sept. 3, 2004. He was born Aug. 6, 1987, the son of James S. and Lori A. (Bumpus) Tash. Erik was embarking on his senior year at Hodgdon High School. He enjoyed sports, playing basketball, soccer and golf with his many classmates and friends. He is survived by his parents and one sister, Jodi Lynn Tash, all of Hodgdon; maternal grandparents, Robert and Elaine Bumpus of Chester; his paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Donna Tash of Chester; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday, at the Houlton Wesleyan Church. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the church with the Rev. Mark Lunn officiating. Interment will be in the Hodgdon Cemetery. Friends may make gifts to the Erik S. Tash Memorial Fund, care of Dunn Funeral Home, 11 Park St., Houlton 04730. Relatives and friends are invited to a time of fellowship at the Hodgdon High School Gym following the services.
