LINCOLN – Ernest A. Dyer Jr., 56, died June 7, 2007, at a Lincoln hospital. He was born Aug. 28, 1950, in Millinocket, the son of Ernest A. and Myrtle (Newell) Dyer Sr. Ernest loved hunting and fishing. He also loved his grandchildren. He is survived by his father, Earl A. Dyer Sr. of Millinocket; a son, Michael Dyer of Calais; a daughter, Susan Dyer of Lincoln; three brothers, Carl Dyer, Thomas and William Daniell; a sister, Betty McDonald; four grandchildren, Mary Marie Dyer, Tiffany Marie Dyer, Toby Edward Dyer and Issac Michael Dyer; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by a son, Bobby Dyer; two daughters, Debbie Ann Dyer and Mary Ann Dyer; and a sister, Janice Nadeau. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Keith Cushman officiating.
