MADAWASKA – Ernest Daigle, 85, died July 5, 2005, in Madawaska. He was born July 30, 1919, in New Canada, Maine, the son of Alcime and Marie (Levesque) Daigle. He is survived by one son, Joel Daigle of Jupiter, Fla.; one daughter, Patricia Daigle of Jupiter, Fla.; four grandchildren, Shannon Scotten, Shawn Daigle, J.J. Poitras and Chantalle Poitras-Dell; two great- grandchildren, Austyn and Cayleigh Scotten. He was predeceased by his wife, Prescille (Pelletier) Daigle in 1992. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Friends and relatives may call at the Daigle Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until time of services on Saturday. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
