WINTERPORT – Ernest Russell Wallace, 86, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2004. He was born Oct. 14, 1917, in Phippsburg, the son of Loring and Anna Wallace. Ernest served with the U.S. Navy as a Seabee during World War II. Ernest was predeceased by his loving wife, Mary (Mae). He is survived by his children, Ernest G. Wallace and his wife, Frances Wallace, of Winterport, Carol Perkins and her husband, Richard, of Stoughton, Mass., Janice Henry and her husband, Robert, of Florissant, Mo. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. At his and his family’s request, there will be no visiting hours.
