WASHBURN and LINNEUS Ervin L. Russell, 80, died July 10, 2004, at Presque Isle. He was born May 4, 1924, in Haynesville, the son of Frank and Ethel (Nason) Russell. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Wyona (Nason) Russell; one son, Anthony Nason and his son, Stephen Nason, all of Washburn; one sister, Rachael Smith of Monticello; two brothers, Frank Russell of Washburn, and Temp Russell of Minnesota; several nieces nephews and cousins, especially his niece, Cheri Williams; and a close family friend, Tammi Easler. He was predeceased by his parents; several brothers; and one sister. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, with the Rev. David Tuttle officiating. Interment will be in the Linneus Cemetery.
