JONESBORO – Estella Mae Dorr, 79, died Sept. 29, 2003, at a Machias healthcare facility. She was born July 23, 1924, at Jonesboro, the daughter of Raymond and Mittie (Hatch) Smith. She is survived by one son, Paul Davis and wife, Nancy, of Winter Harbor; two granddaughters, Estella of Pennsylvania and Melinda of Bangor; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Nelson Smith and wife, Linda, of Jonesboro; a special sister-in-law, Myrtle McLaughlin of Jonesboro; several nieces and nephews including a special nephew, William Smith of Jonesboro and a good friend, Sandra Millay. She was predeceased by her husband, Lyndell Dorr and by five brothers. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, at Bayview Cemetery, Jonesport, with Elder John Woodman officiating. A cremation service of Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Machias.
