NEWPORT – Eugene E. Young, 65, died unexpectedly March 4, 2006, at a Bangor hospital after a short period of ill health. He was born Dec. 16, 1940, in Hampden, the son of Eugene D. and Goldie (Townsend) Young. He is survived by one son, Edward Young of Charleston; three daughters, Wanda Worster of Corinna, Lisa Fell of Athens, Ga., Lori Hall of Norfolk, Va.; five brothers, Clarence Young of Hudson, Malcolm Young of Bradford, Webster Young of Hartland, Mickey Young of Norridgewock, Russell Young of Florida; four sisters, Beatrice Lanpher of Palmyra, Sally Paladino of Florida, Roberta Campbell of Harmony, Mary Page of Palmyra; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He will also be remembered by his companion, whom he made his home with, Frances Andrews and her family of Newport. Graveside services will be conducted in the spring, at the family lot, Highland Cemetery, Carmel. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Newport.
