EUGENE F. GRECO CALAIS – Eugene F. Greco, 76, died Monday, April 21, 2008, at a Bangor hospital. Gene was born Aug. 4, 1931, in Baileyville, son of the late Samuel and Antoniette (Abate) Greco. He served in the U.S. Air Force in Africa. Gene married Dorothy Allison Kerr, Novem-ber 1961. He was employed as an electrician for Georgia Pa-cific for more than 25 years. Gene was a communicant of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Calais and a member of Knights of Columbus Coun-cil 149. He also was a member of Quarter Century Club at Georgia Pacific, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, St. Croix Country Club, Sherman Bros. Post 3 American Legion, St. Croix His-torical Society and volunteered with the local food pantry.
